• ensure microphone is not hanging in front of speaker when switched on

• experiment with location of microphone in relation to mouth
• practice saying “papa toto brought dirty paper” until clear to audience
• demonstrate maintenance and storage of microphone

Microphone practice

Each participant will deliver their introductory session using a microphone.

Each session is to be no longer than 3 minutes.

Classmates will assign a star and a wish to each session. A star is an effective element to be repeated, a wish is a positive, constructive suggestion for improving next time.

Everyone gets both a star and a wish!
